Welcome to the Southern Tier New York R/C Model Boaters club website. We are located in the Elmira area of the southern tier of New York with easy access from routes I-86 and RT17.

We are an IMPBA sanctioned club supporting all classes of R/C boat racing including nitro, gas, and electric power.  We strongly encourage your participation whether you be a newcomer or an expert.   Please select Schedule to determine when racing events are held.  Current race flyers may also be viewed at the IMPBA website. 

New to RC boat racing and don't know where to start or what to do?  Speak to one of our club members at one of the races or use the contact page to get a hold of one of us.  Folks are always ready to help out a fellow boater.

Generally all races are two days in length (Saturday and Sunday) with open water available the Friday before the event weekend.  The race site is a comfortable, well laid out area with excellent driver visability and plenty of shade from the summer sun.  There is ample parking directly adjacent to the pit area. 

Some local nearby attractions include the Corning Glass Works, Finger Lakes wine country region, and the Watkins Glen race facility.  Many hotels and motels are located in the immediate Elmira / Horseheads area which are very convenient to the race site.
